When a headache needs a medical evaluation first
A headache after a collision can come from neck strain, but it can also be a sign of a concussion or something more serious. Get medical care first for any headache after a head strike or loss of consciousness, or with confusion, memory problems, vomiting, vision changes or unusual drowsiness. We screen for these signs and refer when needed. We do not diagnose concussions.
