When the Neck Drives the Headache
Muscles and joints at the top of the neck can refer discomfort into the head. Clinicians sometimes describe these as tension-type or cervicogenic headaches. Not every headache works this way, which is why the exam matters. For general background, see MedlinePlus (medlineplus.gov/headache.html).

Frequently Asked Questions
Can chiropractic care help headaches?
Some headaches are related to neck movement and muscle tension, and an exam can help sort out whether chiropractic care may be appropriate. Other headaches need a medical evaluation. We will tell you which applies, and we do not promise results.
Do you treat migraines?
We do not diagnose or treat migraine as a medical condition. If your headaches suggest migraine or another medical cause, we refer you to a medical provider.
